I haven't posted in quite awhile. I'm back in College Station and living with Em. Our apartment slopes like nobody's buisness but the price is right. I am convinced that one day Em's room will fall off of the building. We do get free HBO.
The dress is bought. Not in yet but it is bought. I've been keeping it under wraps. I didn't even tell Gary for a few weeks after I bought it. And I DO love it.
We have a cake! Too bad I'm still not sure what I want on it. I'm second guessing myself. But our the lady who owns Frosted Art is on the Food Network quite often. I trust their judgement.
Now only to find a florist and bridesmaid dresses.

What's the buzz, tell me what's a happenin'
So Easter is almost here again. This year we are adding another egg hunt competitor. I've just got a few words: The boys are going down. No outsiders can come in and sweep us. HA! I wish I could find my Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack. I don't know what I did with it. We are coloring eggs on Friday. I make the ugliest eggs. I hold the record. I don't think the objective is to make ugly eggs but I really like to. Every year turns into some contest to try and find the perfect maroon shade. I think it's impossible to make maroon out of food coloring. It's also impossible to make tie-dye eggs. But last year we did find some old shrinky-dink to use on them. I mean Duck Tales (woo-ooo) old. I think Easter may be one of my favorite holidays.

One down, a lifetime to go
So it has been nearly a month of being "engaged." I don't know what to say about it. People ooh and ahh over you. They uncomfortably stare at your hand instead of just asking to see it. That is a mostly boy practice. It's very exciting and stressful. You'd be surprised how many people expect you to have a full wedding planned an hour after you get asked. And the whole "fiance" thing. I don't know what to say about that. I feel so stuck up saying "my fiance and I." I'm sure it will be a fun journey to 2007. I'm excited and looking forward to all of the ups and downs.
